Natural Cure for Eczema – 4 Natural Ingredients to Stop Eczema Naturally
Having eczema can be quite annoying, especially considering the itchy and burning sensations that accompany it throughout the day. While you can relieve the symptom of eczema using medical approach but the prolonged side effects that follow it should be considered carefully.
Therefore it is recommended to choose natural cure for eczema in handling your eczema as natural approach provides no side effect at all.
1. Vitamin E
Vitamin E acts an antioxidant and can ease any irritation or itching caused by eczema. You can get it at your local skincare stores at a cost less than a can of soda. You can apply it directly or drink it as food supplement.
2. Emollient
Emollient has been known as one of the most effective natural treatment to cure eczema. Speaking from my personal experience; my cousin has used it to cure his eczema with great success. You can apply it on your skin whenever you like, there is no strict rule about this.
3. Moisturizer
A moisturizer can help a lot in preventing and relieving the symptom of eczema no matter what is the cause of your eczema. You should carry moisturizer and apply it regularly. Generally speaking twice a day is enough. But we never know what we will meet outside at office or during afternoon walk.
4. Aloe Vera
Some herbalists have known that aloe vera can soothe the itchy and painful condition from experiencing eczema. What good about aloe vera is, not only can relieve your eczema symptom but also aloe vera can be a wonderful nutrient for your skin, preventing anti aging and curing various skin care problems.
A natural approach is the more preferable method to handle eczema since it has no side effects. Some examples of natural cure for eczema are vitamin E, emollient, moisturizer, and aloe vera.

The Best Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream Can Reduce Crow’s Feet And Shrink Puffy Sagging Bags And Wrinkles
If your anything like me I bet given the chance you’d like to do something positive about reducing your deepening crows feet and shrinking those puffy sagging bags and wrinkles under your eyes.
The best anti wrinkle eye cream I know about has some great natural anti-aging, anti-wrinkle ingredients that have been scientifically proven to make a big difference to the skin tissue under and around your eyes.
The 3 biggest reasons why your facial tissues wrinkle are because of normal natural facial expressions like smiling, laughing, squinting and pulling silly faces. The second thing causing wrinkling is loss of collagen and elastin protein cells. Finally environmental issues like free radical oxidative stress caused by sun damage results in a reduction of hyaluronic acid.
So the first thing you have to do is stop pulling silly faces so often, start putting back some of that collagen and elastin your losing every day and build hyaluronic acid levels to reduce oxidative stress in the skin.
There are hundreds if not thousands of creams and lotions on the market claiming that they can produce collagen and elastin proteins in the skin. But, careful research has shown that nearly all of these claims are false. However, there are 2 ingredients I know of that are scientifically proven to be able to regrow new collagen and elastin skin cells. And 3 others that can specifically target damaged tissues around and under the eyes.
The first one that’s in the best anti wrinkle eye cream is Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10. Yes your right… it’s a weird name but a great ingredient — it’s a special type of CoenzymeQ10 with nano-sized molecules that can get deep down into your dermis where the collagen and elastin matrix is. Once there it actively goes about producing more of these vital protein cells.
The second is a relatively new unique substance called Cynergy TK”(TM)”, which contains a newly developed form of natural keratin called functional keratin”(TM)”. You probably haven’t heard of it before because it’s not available in major skin care lines yet. Here again this ingredient is clinically proven to be able to regrow new collagen and elastin tissue.
Obviously, by increasing your skins levels of these two proteins you can remove fine lines and reduce wrinkles, the reason being is collagen contributes to your skins structure and strength whilst elastin helps make it tighter and more elasticized. Therefore, within a short time your crow’s feet and under eye wrinkles will be reduced.
3 other substances the best anti wrinkle eye cream should contain are Phytessence Wakame to help re-build hyaluronic acid levels. Eyeliss”(TM)” and Haloxyl”(TM)” are both specifically designed to help reduce dark circles around the eyes, and puffiness, sagging bags and wrinkles under the eyes.
Make no mistake about it — you can make big improvements to wrinkles and crows feet by consistent use of these substances. I personally have been using them for over 6 months now, and intend to keep doing so.

Are there any good natural skin care products that really work?
I would like to find a moisturizing lotion for my face that is natural and good for my skin. I have normal to slightly dry skin. It can be somewhat sensitive to some products, but is not prone to blemishes, just sometimes a little redness or rash that goes away. Ironically, the products that will cause this are often the ones that claim to make skin younger looking.
Have you tried alcohol-free Aloe Vera? My husband and I both like it. He works outdoors and his face gets dry and chapped. The aloe has no scent and adds just the right amount of moisture and isn’t greasy.
Vitamin E is sold in small bottles at local drug stores. Use that for extra moisture.
Olive Oil is also good for dry skin.
I use a simple oatmeal mask 2-3 times a week on my face.
Mix warm water or milk with small amount of quick cooking plain oatmeal. It should be a soft paste. Apply to your face and let it dry for about 10 minutes.
If it gets too dry add olive oil to the mix before applying. Moisturize with Aloe.
My face feels so soft and clean after I use it.
Hope some of these ideas help you.

LINERS and LASHES from KORRES
My loves of KORRES began with their products for body, specifically Yoghurt Body Butter and Watermelon Body Scrub. With their commitment to eco-consciousness from concept to packaging, I am forever impressed by their selection. From haircare to skincare I use their products faithfully. More recently I began checking out the KORRES Color line from moisturizing lip balms and glosses to silicon-free primer. In greening my makeup one of the last things remaining were my old eyeliners. With the variety KORRES had to offer I was excited to give them a try.
I love eyeliner. But I was having trouble finding eco-friendly options I liked. The KORRES line offers 12 vibrant hues. It wasn’t actually so much a problem of finding a color I liked rather picking which one to use first. I have hazel eyes and my sister has green; we both found colors we loved in the KORRES line. I think the
metallic brown is a great alternative to black and their green is a great deep color that made my eyes pop. My sister loved the cobalt blue. The pencil itself is perfect for making a sharp line but applies without pulling at the skin and the color lasts with minimal smudging (they’d also work well to create a smoky eye effect). Made using antioxidant Vitamin E to moisturize and macadamia oil which “rebalances dryness without clogging the pores or irritating the sensitive eye area” the liners are available individually for $16. KORRES offers are great value set including the black, blue black and gold for $25 (a $48 value).
This was also my chance to finally try KORRES mascara. For everyday the Provitamin B5 and Rice Bran mascara ($18) thrills me to no end because it not only nourishes lashes and creates volume but it also comes in five colors. FIVE. For those who want mascara without parabens, petrochemicals and other synthetics, you’re usually limited to black. Not always great for those with lighter hair or lashes. But KORRES offers this mascara in
black, blue black, grey green and brown. And they’ve just created a travel size in black ($8) perfect for your purse, suitcase or to give the line a try. For a more dramatic effect try the Abyssinia Oil mascara ($20). My sister loves deep, black lashes and this was perfect (it’s also available in brown, cobalt blue and plum). Made with Abyssinia oil “offering
excellent pigment for the most dramatic look,” along with Vitamin E, Provitamin B5 and bamboo extract.

Oil Free Moisturizer for your Skin
Every woman I know thinks the same thing come spring-time to go out and play! But visions of a re-activated lifestyle and the accompanying healthy glow soon give way to a less pleasant vision of seriously aggravated skin. Fine lines look a little less fine, and that glow has mutated into blotchy discoloration. The very things that are good for our minds and bodies can do a number on our skin without the proper antidote.
The summer heat combined with outdoor activity has us in a constant panic over those ever-present oil slicks. Since we spend so much time trying to banish excess oil, it’s easy to assume our skin needs anything but more. And we’re right-sort of. It doesn’t need more oil, but our skin still needs moisture. The heat and sun actually dehydrate skin, and over-producing oil is the body’s way of trying to remedy the problem.
Using a quality oil-free moisturizer helps our bodies find the right balance. A good oil-free moisturizer will plump up lines and wrinkles, while helping to keep the skin hydrated throughout the day. The result: our oil glands kick it down a notch. In addition, most oil-free moisturizers are non-comedogenic, helping reduce break-outs.
Of course, not all oil-free moisturizers are created equal. Some hydration is better than none, but if the product uses inferior, artificial ingredients, they can further aggravate skin. If an oil-free moisturizer is loaded with chemical irritants, from dyes and fragrances to preservatives and harsh additives, the overall effect is counter-productive.
On the flip side, the right oil-free moisturizer can offer fringe benefits. Look for products with quality, all-natural ingredients designed to soothe skin as they moisturize (keeping in mind that nature produces poison ivy, so plant-based doesn’t automatically equal good for you).
One of the most important fringe benefits, but potential irritants, is sun protection. Even though we all conscientiously slather on the SPF when we go out for a day in the sun, we forget how much sun exposure happens in the course of a normal, errand-running day. It adds up to years of direct exposure to aging, cancer-causing UVA/UVB rays and free radicals. While you may not need a thick coat of high-octane sunscreen, you need something.
The easiest solution is a combo oil-free moisturizer and sunscreen. However, many products rely on chemical sunscreens to avoid a heavy, chalky look and feel. These chemicals are highly irritating to many skin types, and may contribute to flare-ups and break-outs. Oil-free moisturizers that employ micronized zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, mineral particles that create a physical barrier, are ideal and won’t look or feel heavy. Zinc oxide acts as an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial and has been shown to sooth and rejuvenate the skin, while titanium dioxide is considered by the FDA to be one of the most effective natural sunscreens.
Oil-free moisturizers are a dime a dozen, but finding a product with all the benefits and none of the irritants can be tricky. Oil-Free Moisture by Beauty Cosmedics offers one option worth investigating. This oil-free moisturizer with SPF 15 (zinc oxide and titanium dioxide) uses high-quality, natural ingredients and is free of parabens, petroleum, perfume, talc, dyes, fillers and artificial preservatives. And they don’t test on animals.
The company also creates all of its products with active women in mind, so they’re designed to withstand heat and humidity while protecting problem-prone skin, from general sensitivity to rosacea and acne. They’re also packaged to comply with travel regulations, so those summer getaways are a little closer to what you had in mind-fun, with that healthy glow back again.

Quantitative analysis of virgin coconut oil in cream cosmetics preparations using fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy.
Pak J Pharm Sci. 2009 Oct; 22(4): 415-20
Rohman A, Man YC, Sismindari
Today, virgin coconut oil (VCO) is becoming valuable oil and is receiving an attractive topic for researchers because of its several biological activities. In cosmetics industry, VCO is excellent material which functions as a skin moisturizer and softener. Therefore, it is important to develop a quantitative analytical method offering a fast and reliable technique. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy with sample handling technique of attenuated total reflectance (ATR) can be successfully used to analyze VCO quantitatively in cream cosmetic preparations. A multivariate analysis using calibration of partial least square (PLS) model revealed the good relationship between actual value and FTIR-predicted value of VCO with coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.998.

Chaperone-mediated autophagy: selectivity pays off.
Trends Endocrinol Metab. 2009 Oct 24;
Cuervo AM
Degradation of intracellular components in lysosomes, generically known as autophagy, can occur through different pathways. This review discusses chaperone-mediated autophagy (CMA), a type of autophagy set apart from other autophagic pathways owing to its selectivity and distinctive mechanism by which substrates reach the lysosomal lumen. CMA participates in quality control and provides energy to cells under persistently poor nutritional conditions. Alterations in CMA have recently been shown to underlie some severe human disorders for which the decline with age in the activity of this pathway might become a major aggravating factor. Prevention of the age-dependent decline in CMA has major beneficial effects on cellular and organ homeostasis and function, revealing that CMA is an essential component of the anti-aging fight.

A very promising new glucolipidic surfactant: Lipowheat(TM).
Int J Cosmet Sci. 2005 Dec; 27(6): 301-8
Djedour A, Lafforgue C, Marty JP, Grossiord JL
Lipowheat(TM) is an entirely biodegradable 100% natural active ingredient, extracted from non-transgenic wheat. Thanks to its very interesting properties, it can integrate the composition of most cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. The aim of this work was first to realize a large range of stable simple or multiple emulsions, in order to determine and evaluate the ability of a new glucolipidic surfactant Lipowheat(TM)to form and stabilize emulsions. The rheological properties of these emulsions were tested during a 30-day storage period at three different storage conditions (cold, room temperature and at 40 degrees C). In addition to dynamic and static rheological tests, droplet size distribution of the cream was also determined. Furthermore, a stable simple emulsion was selected to realize percutaneous absorption and evaluate the properties of Lipowheat(TM).
