Make a Sheer Tinted Moisturizer Using Foundation & Lotion
Great way to use up your unused foundation. I just mix up any facial lotion with any foundation (liquid or mineral). Even if the foundation I have on hand is a terrible mismatch with my skintone, the lotion makes it super sheer and natural looking.

Self Tanning Lotion Review: Sun Labs
Follow me on Twitter:
http://www.twitter.com/sccastaneda
On my nails:
“Blu” by Sally Hansen HD collection
Kris and I rarely show our legs and plan to go to the river soon and dont want to scare ppl when they see our legs. We are on the hunt for a great self tanner because have bad luck with tanning beds.
___________________________________
My first thoughts:
I loved the smell of the scrub. It wasnt too hard on my skin which is always a plus. When I applied the tanning lotion to my legs I was worried about my hands being stained and streaking. With a little bit of scrubbing power I was able to remove the color from my hands. The color was not what I was expecting. Our legs are a dark red color shortly after the lotion sets. I guess I am getting a head of myself and need to wait the full hour and see how it looks once the color is removed and I apply the tan maintainer lotion.
After the process:
OMG I am bronzed! I saw the color difference right after I washed the developed tanning lotion from my legs. Kris did not get a dramatic change like I did, but after 3 hrs his legs look naturally tan! When you are as light as Kris you dont want to look like a carrot, so this was the perfect color. To my surprise there were no streaks and any product that got onto my clothing was removed in one wash. Yea! I give this product a MUST TRY seal of approval. Thank you all so much for the time you spend watching my videos.
xoxo Sonia

Caring for Extensions and Natural Hair
How to prepare your natural hair:
*Use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner along with a thinning shampoo for one wash if desired
*Use a leave-in conditioner or some other type of moisturizer (I used Better Braids Medicated Spray)
*Let your hair air dry (give it a break from heat)
*Use a braid pattern that works best for the type of extensions you are using
*Use a wig cap
Product suggestions:

http://cremeofnature.com/
http://www.keystone-labs.com/products/BetterBraids-Medicated-Spray.html
Caring for extensions:
*Shampoo and condition extensions every 1-2 weeks with moisturizing products (Dove, Creme of Nature, Goldwell’s Kerasilk, Pureology)
*Let wigs air dry on a manikin head with a leave-in conditioner (Lanza, Paul Mitchell, PhytoSpecific)
*Use a heat protectant when using heat styling (Redken’s Smooth Down serum, Paul Mitchell’s Skinny serum)
*To prevent the hair from tangling, use leave-in conditioners to keep the hair moisturized throughout the week. Make sure to moisturize your own hair as well. Stay away from heavy oils. Use your fingers or a wide comb to detangle. A boar bristle brush is good for keeping the extensions smooth.
Product Suggestions for Extensions:

Pureology

Product recommendations from the stylist that never replied to my request to feature her:
** DOVE ADVANCED THERAPY SHAMPOO
** DOVE ADVANCE THERAPY CONDITIONER
** CREME OF NATURE -HERBA RICH
** AUSSIE HAIR INSURANCE LEAVE IN CONDITIONER
** ELASTA QP H-TWO LEAVE IN
no oil sheens/grease, as they will not help you and in most cases make your weave weighed down, tangly, and overly shiny
if you wash and condition the hair at least bi weekly, it will have moisture and a sheen and no type of oil sheen/grease should be needed.
