Daily Moisturizing Spritz
This is the spray that made me stop trying other stuff for my hair. I am excited about it, doesn’t take long to make, lasts a while and keeps my hair from drying out. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Sorry ya’ll heard me singing, I would have edited it out, but it would have been to much editing out seconds at a time. Hope you enjoy! {:o)
Extra tips for the people that try this:
Tip 1. Adjust the glycerin level if neccessary. It’s super dry where I live (less that 35% humidity at night) so i may need more than you
Tip 2. This can get oily/greasy if too much is used
Tip 3. Make sure your bottle is 18-20 oz for this recipe, and that it has a very secure top since there is a lot of shaking, (got this one at sallys)
Tip 4. You may not need to spray twice a day, use some at at night, smooth it in, sleep with a cap on and see what it does for your hair overnight to determine if you should spray more or less
Tip 5. After a day or three you might like your hair at that stage, it’s perfectly fine to skip a day or three. There’s no rule saying you have to use it everyday.
Tip 6. When co-washing this out, make sure you rinse well.

My hair is a wierd …
My hair is a wierd blend of 3-4 different textures, the coiliest in the top middle of my head, it stretches easily and it looks like I have a jerry curl if I wet it and put oil on it. Using the numbers I think I’m a 4a and using lois I’m ois cottony thin i think.

Most nights I wrap …
Most nights I wrap my hair up or put in in a stay on cap. I have satin pillows in case I forget to. In the morning if its gone flat I just spray some water or some of that spritz depending on if I’ve already sprayed enough for me to get my hair soft, if I have just water in the morning. Yep, that spray is all I put on my head aside from the cap unless I do twists and then I use water and shea butter as I’m forming the twists and cover it when I sleep.

I find for me it works well overnight and helps me get my hair back after I shampoo. You may not want to use it daily as after a couple days the hair may be how you want it. Yes you could, though her hair may want less oil and more water in the ratio. You may need to tweak it for your hair also since ours in different, but it should work. {:o)

I cant wait for try this. I done my BC at the end of July 09 and my hair if very thick and curly. It seems to always be dry I am crossing my fingers that this will work. I would have to get this items this week and I will hit you back to let you know how it worked. Oh and I believe I am a 4 ( hair type) I didnt transition long at all. My last perm was in April 09. Could I use this spray on my daughter, shes 4 and natural, she is a 3 (hair type). thanks much

I tried this mix and it was great. I only made a small amount to test it out and I think it is a great leave in. I substituted the rosemary oil by Weleda for a home made one and I give this recipe a 2 thumbs up!

I think it has, but i’m not sure, because I comb really hard. (I’m working on being more gentle when detangling) Most of the hairs are shed, but there are a few broken ones here and there. My hair is softer, and at the end of the day it’s not dried out and when I do go to comb it, it’s easier than when I didn’t use this stuff. I hope you like it! {:o)
