Water without the oil or oil without the water is not what I was saying ) If my hair is presoaked with water (moisture) & I use an emollient and/or humectant (oil) to seal or retain moisture then who’s to say this is not a way to moisturize hair. Is it because it’s not premixed? My thoughts are whatever you do to moisturize your hair is up to u, whether it’s already presoaked with water and you seal with a butter, oil or if you use something that’s already mixed do whatever works for u.

hi, i also have to add products to my hair wet. i am new to you tube and have enjoyed your videos very much. i used to have locs. after eight years i cut them off and now i have to relearn how to take care of my hair. it has been a joy and a chore but i am getting there. thank you for all the great info and being so positive. keep up the good work. i cant wait unitl i can post some videos..

Yes, I have to do my hair soaking wet, no towel drying is pretty good for me. Sometimes I wrap a towel around my head when I get frustrated with the dripping/running. But I still love the results. So I use the TIGI MM of course (Bedhead Moisture Maniac) w/ only 1 oil – Wildgrowth hair oil. Seems like my hair HATES all other oils. Shea is my prepoo, but NOT my styler. My hair hates it w/ water. hmmmm, 4A/4B, Minor 3C at crown.

Great video…I ALWAYS use my homemade whipped shea butter on my hair after I wash or condition wash and during the week to revive my curls after sleeping on them, I use a little bit of my homemade hair spritz (water/veg. glycerine/oil of choice).

I agree with the nail comment=) I only do natural nail, they call me the “Repairer”, because I really help the nail grow back healthy( especially after wearing false nail). Mostly every style they put on false nail I do it with natural nail. Unfortunately you can’t use coco oil and shea butter w/favorite E.O. , but don’t put the melted shea butter directly on hair but more on scalp( oil treatment) luv vid keep @it.

go to the natural haven blog . she is a kinky haired scientist that never say things without proof. in you links, they are talking about nourishing the hair. Hair is a dead cell. you can nourish your scalp and hope it grows healthy hair. After that all you can do is protect the hair cuticle from being scratched or the hair from being weak and easily break due to dryness. Oil seals moist in cuz oil blocks water and weight down on the cuticle(conditioning) no need for ORGANIC oil.
